Question for you if you don’t mind sharing where did you get the hanging lights (both the rustic woodsy looking ones and the wirey ones that hung in the dining area)? Our local county cosmriioness will allow our Airlie Gardens to be purchased. Fantastic move! Although theres a little catch, they made it into an easement and no one can build on it. You’ve got to be kidding me. Why does our government (local/state/nationa) purchase land they don’t intend to reside in or make public use of? Prior to the purchase, it was a taxable piece of property, now not only do we not tax it, cause we own it, but we pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for up keep and to pay salaries to run it! So .. it is what it is. Lets do smething about the cost of running this thing. There should be no full time board members to run a park. No salaries over $10k per year. Something has got be done about the costs to operate. New Hanover County Commissioners, don’t you get it? This park is for the elite, the shishi, the top echelon of Wilmington. My taxes are too high, the economy is not so hot, there are more foreclosed home now than last year. New Hanover County Commissioners, you’ve got to change this.
